The City of Rancho Cordova is proud to announce the grand opening of the Anatolia-Kavala Ranch Bike Trail. The half-mile trail connects the Anatolia and Kavala Ranch communities to allow walking or biking between neighborhoods. The project will create a safe, convenient bike and walk route for families going to school or nearby parks, and for residents exploring the community or getting exercise.
“The City of Rancho Cordova is a safe and vibrant community that values connected neighborhoods for pedestrians and cyclists,” said Mayor David Sander. “Our City was named a Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community by The League of American Bicyclists. We hope to continue improving our rating with new projects like the Anatolia-Kavala Ranch Bike Trail as we build the region’s largest trail network.”
The City held a grand opening celebration on Monday, September 12. More than 300 residents participated in the ribbon cutting, a half-mile stroll on the new trail, and a neighborhood party at Kavala Ranch Park.
