It’s Easy to Sign Up for Emergency Notifications

The City of Rancho Cordova has a new way to notify you in the event of an emergency in Rancho Cordova. All it takes is the click of a button and a few simple steps!

SIGN UP FOR EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS

Visit Sacramento-Alert.org and select the Sign Up tab in the gray toolbar. Then follow these steps:

  1. Provide your personal information and select a username, password, and security question.
  2. Select how you’d like to be contacted, such as cell phone, text, email, and/or landline.
  3. Register one or multiple addresses to get alerts about the places that mean the most to you, such as your home address, work address, your parent’s address, or your children’s school. This system serves Sacramento County, Placer County, and Yolo County.
  4. Select the type of alerts you’d like to receive. The City suggests you subscribe to the Emergency category and City of Rancho Cordova that can be found under the Sacramento County category. If you live or work in another area, you should sign up for alerts in those areas as well.

Sacramento Alert will enable the City to provide you with critical information in emergency situations, such as severe weather, missing persons, evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods, and other natural or human-caused disasters.
